STORAGE FAQ
How Do I rent a storage unit?
Renting a unit is quick and easy! Simply select your unit size, complete the rental agreement, and receive your personal DaVinci lock code for immediate access. You can also call us if you prefer help renting by phone.
What are your office hours?
Our team is available by phone during regular business hours, and we monitor messages after hours for urgent needs. Units are accessible to tenants 7 days a week from 6am – 10pm.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards for online and phone payments. We do not accept cash payments on-site for security reasons. If you prefer to pay by check, you can mail your payment to our P.O. Box listed on your invoice or lease agreement.
How secure are your facilities?
We use individual DaVinci locks that are uniquely assigned to each tenant. Each lock provides secure, keyless access and is changed after every tenant to ensure maximum protection. We also maintain 24-hour video surveillance, perform regular property checks, and keep all units well-lit and monitored.
Can I live or sleep in my storage unit?
Absolutely not. Living or sleeping in a storage unit is illegal and violates your lease agreement. This includes using the unit as a residence, for overnight stays, or for any purpose other than storage. Anyone found living in a unit will be immediately evicted and reported to law enforcement.
Can I be on the property after hours?
For everyone’s safety, no one is permitted on the property outside of access hours. Trespassing after hours is strictly prohibited and may result in eviction and loss of future rental privileges.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
Yes. We require all tenants to carry insurance coverage for the items they store.
Why should I use your storage insurance instead of my homeowner's policy?
Our in-house protection plan is designed specifically for self-storage and comes with several
advantages:
- No deductible — you get full coverage for approved claims without any out-of-pocket
costs. - No impact on your homeowner’s insurance — filing a claim on your storage policy
won’t raise your home premiums or count as a claim on your record. - Faster claims process — claims are handled directly through the storage protection
provider, saving time and hassle.
You can add this coverage when you rent your unit or any time afterward.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the date listed in your lease agreement. Payments not received by that date may incur late fees, as outlined in your lease.
How can I make a payment?
- Online: Log into your account at our website to make a payment anytime.
- By Phone: Call our office during business hours.
- By Mail: Send your check or money order to the P.O. Box address provided on your
invoice.
For safety reasons, we do not accept cash payments at any facility.
What happens if I don’t pay my rent?
Accounts that remain unpaid past the due date will receive a late notice and, if unresolved, a lien notice in accordance with Tennessee state law. Continued nonpayment may result in the sale of unit contents at public auction.
How do I access my storage unit?
Once your lease is signed and payment is made, you’ll receive a DaVinci lock code assigned to your unit. This gives you secure, keyless access to your storage space during daylight hours.
What if I forget my lock code or lose access?
Contact our management team during business hours. For your protection, we’ll verify your identity before resetting or replacing your lock code.
Can I let someone else access my unit?
Only individuals listed on your rental agreement are authorized to access your unit. If you’d like to add someone, please contact us to complete an authorization form.
How do I move out?
Please provide at least 10 days’ notice before vacating your unit. Remove all belongings, sweep the space clean, and leave the DaVinci lock open on the latch. Once our team verifies the unit is empty, your account will be closed.
Do you offer refunds for early move-outs?
We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days. Please plan your move-out date to align with your billing cycle.
How do you protect my personal information?
We take your privacy seriously. All personal information collected is used solely for managing your rental and maintaining communication with you. We never sell, trade, or share your data with outside parties.
